Great topic Josua, you make some great points, especially distinguishing quantum mechanics (e.g. one’s interpretation). Bill Dembski (https://billdembski.substack.com/) has written extensively on this topic (e.g. https://beingascommunion.com/). In his paper “Randomness by Design”, he argues that chance and randomness do not make sense apart from underlying patterns and information. Further, in “Being as Communion”, he concludes that chance is better understood as a byproduct of intelligence. Finally, in relation to the quote “Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous”, I explore this ‘anonymity’, not from a coincidence perspective, but from say, an answer to prayer, when God chooses to act/intervene within nature, i.e. within the realms of natural laws, in contrast to a supernatural miracle (e.g. see https://substack.com/@aidt1/p-144986371).

Hi Jeff, thank you for the recommendations. I'll be sure to check them out.

Yes I believe there is a lot to be explored on the question of coincidence. However, I think it will always remain a mystery to us while on this earth. Doesn't mean we can engage in it, though.
